Perhaps one of the few times that a dress has been discussed so much.
Nicole Kidman wore in Cannes a Valentino gown, but the case is not that. The story goes back at the Oscars 2013 when Anne Hathaway stated that she chose to wear the night she won the precious award a Prada dress, a last minute choice because the original gown was similar to an other one presented that night.
The gorgeous haute couture beige Valentino dress worn by Nicole Kidman yesterday at Cannes is not just any couture dress. Is one with which Anne Hathaway had planned to appear at this year’s Oscars awarding ceremony before she changes her mind at the very last minute. Finally sshe opted for the controversial Prada pale pink gown as she learned that Amanda Seyfriend had chosen to appear with a very similar design of Alexander McQueen.
Beauty Report.
Anja Rubik lands two new fragrance campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent’s “Paris je t’aime” and “Parisienne” scents. The Polish beauty replaces former face Kate Moss for the latter fragrance. In one image, Anja is seen kissing the perfume bottle against a Paris backdrop featuring the Eiffel Tower while the other ad shows off her sultry side with a black, skin-baring ensemble.
Rihanna Sues Topshop Over T-Shirts Printed With Her Image
Rihanna is furius with the UK fashion retailer Topshop because they use her image printed in T-shirts without her permission. Rhanna herself with ther lawyers had already taken all their legal rights to stop the release but without any results as the Topshop officials said they don’t care” and “do what we want”.
Riri from her side stated that it’s the principle, and wants to make a statement about it.” Now she claims $5 million after their refusal to stop selling the the significant T-shirt. For the record the singer for Barbados has already spend almost $1 million in litigation. Guess Rihanna won’t give in easily.
